EMRT-1.1

What’s new on EMRT?

The new EMRT revision 1.1 is released!

The template was released on 14th of October 2022 and will be officially launched on 20th of October 2022.

The major updates to be noted on the EMRT v 1.1 are:

  • Bug fixes and errors correction,
  • Enhancements to avoid conflict with IPC 1755A say filter activation/searches in the Smelter list tab,
  • ISO short names updated for Countries, States/provinces,
  • Updated list of Smelters for reference

We know CRT was for Cobalt reporting and MRT was for Mica reporting, but the use of these separate templates is now phased out by RMI with effective from 31st of March 2022.

The Extended Mineral Reporting Template (EMRT) was originally published on 20th Oct 2021 by the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) and IPC 1755 standards committee. A combined Cobalt Report Template (CRT) and Mica Reporting Template (MRT) has been developed for exploration companies to gather information on Cobalt and Mica as part of their due diligence process.

A good practice measure is to provide EMRTs to your customers and to post them on your external website. So, do remember to use EMRT version 1.1 or higher for the subsequent reporting year as suggested by RMI.
